Cryogenic Industrial Solutions (CIS), a leading player in transport trailers, tanks, equipment repairs, fleet leasing and nitrogen services, has added Ft. Collins, Colo. concrete mix temperature control specialist NITROcrete to its portfolio—alongside Alloy Custom Products, WesMor Cryogenics, CIS Leasing and Integrity Gas Services.

NITROcrete technology controls concrete mix temperatures through a proprietary, automated, in-line liquid nitrogen process. It seamlessly integrates with ready mixed production batching software, and affords users the flexibility to serve portable or fixed concrete batch plants.

“The acquisition expands our channels to market, brings existing partnerships into new industries, and affirms our vision to be a leader in cryogenic solutions and applications,” says CIS President Edward Leon.

“This unique partnership allows us to leverage the talent, resources and expertise of Cryogenic Industrial Solutions, providing us opportunities to broaden our services and offerings in the concrete industry,” adds NITROcrete CEO Stephen De Bever, who will continue to lead the business.

NITROcrete technology equipped Hahn Ready Mix to meet tight concrete temperature specs for the new Interstate 74/Mississippi River bridge, linking Moline, Ill. and Bettendorf, Iowa.
